When there is a protection-type order in a civil case, does the Order Add (ORDA) screen replace the Civil Judgment/Disposition (CVJ) screen?
No, for courts of limited jurisdiction, the ORDA screen does not replace the CVJ screen in these types of cases. When a protection-type order is recorded on ORDA, you should also record a civil judgment on CVJ of GR (granted) or DE (Denied).
The Caseload Statistics count protection-type orders is based on entries on the CVJ screen. You will also still use CVJ when the case is ready to be closed. Refer to the JIS Online Manual, Process Protection-Type Orders topic, for complete instructions.
