What is reading mode and how is it different from design mode?

A BI document opens up in reading mode. This view only mode is available in HTML and PDF.


If reading mode is in HTML format it can be used to perform basic tasks. These tasks include saving, printing, exporting, and sending to a BI Inbox. As a PDF, the BI document can only be viewed.


A query cannot be modified in reading mode. To modify a query, click Design, in the upper right corner next to Reading to switch to design mode.
